The Bečva Cycle Route – king of Moravian cycle trails

A 161-kilometre-long cycle trail leads from the mountain springs of the Bečva River all the way to its confluence with the Morava River. It can also be enjoyed by in-line skaters and hikers.

The longest cycle route in Moravia provides a pleasant ride through a diverse landscape with numerous tourist attractions in the vicinity. It begins by the sources of the Rožnovská Bečva and the Vsetínská Bečva and ends at the confluence of the Bečva with the Morava in the town of Tovačov. The trail leads along the bank of the Bečva through the peaceful countryside away from the noise of cars and civilisation. Thanks to the undemanding terrain, the trail is suitable for recreational sport and for families with children.

Whether you decide to go for a hike or a bike ride, the route will always present you with extraordinary views. You will pass through, for example, the historical centre of Hranice, a town dominated by the towers of the Old Town Hall, château and church. Your route will continue past the city park and romantic nooks of the Bečva River to the majestic Helfštýn Castle towering over the landscape like a watchtower.
